Yoroiden Samurai Troopers first aired April 30, 1988, and as such, can be difficult (i.e. for fans) in tracking down merchandise. As a collector of YST paraphernalia, I'm always on the lookout for buried treasures on eBay and other online anime shops. To aid your quest for YST collectibles, I've listed resources of where to find authentic merchandise for the series, and what each site generally offers for sale (as well as an overall "reference rank"—5 being my highest recommendation).

eBay -
eBay is an excellent source for YST goods. Though I must warn you, these goods go in spurts. There may be two and three auctions at a time for several weeks, and then nothing for months. I check the site periodically for the latest developments, though eBay's a case of "hit or miss." eBay items include, but are not limited to: Artbooks, CD dramas (i.e. very rare), Toys/Gadgets (i.e. action figures, keychains, stickers), Collectible Cards, and DVD Collections (i.e. Bandai release only).

Christian Link -
Christian has a very large selection of YST goods for sale. He comes across Doujinshi, Toys/Gadgets, Artbooks, Pencil Boards, etc. He's an excellent source for YST merchandise, though his goods disappear quickly, if you catch my drift. Some of his older items have already been sold, but his more recent items are still available for purchase.

Bandai -
Bandai recently released the "Ronin Warriors/Yoroiden Samurai Troopers DVD Collection." The collection includes YST in both the original Japanese and English dub, compiled into two books with double-sided DVDs. You can also find toys (i.e. action figures) for sale at the official website, though I doubt they're authentic (i.e. American made and not Japanese import).

Play-Asia -
The only online source (i.e. that I know of) that sells Japanese region (i.e. Region 2) YST DVDs. At $39.90 a DVD, it's a fairly steep price—especially for all eight volumes—but well worth the money for hardcore fans. Be forewarned, you must have a compatible DVD player to view these disks (i.e. Region 2 DVD; North American DVD players are Region 1).

jpqueen -
Online source for various YST goods. Artbooks, VHS releases of the series, doujinshi, CDs—always available and reasonably priced. I would recommend this site for "buried treasures," or items you probably won't find anywhere else. Customers leave feedback for purchased items, and delivery is, based on my sources, very efficient.

AnimeNation -
Probably the WORST online source for YST merchandise. At BEST, this site offers the individual DVDs, but NOT the DVD Collection. They are, however, bargain-priced—easily the cheapest I've seen at ANY online store. Keep in mind, the DVDs are listed under "Ronin Warriors," and not "Yoroiden Samurai Troopers."
